Which PVC folding door should you choose?
The hinge structure, panel thickness, glazing and hardware should match the opening and the way the room will be used.
Soft hinge
A lightweight accordion-door option for compact indoor openings. Available with or without transparent panels.
Zigzag hard hinge
A thicker rigid-edge system with plastic or metal handle and lock choices.
Hard hinge

MEASUREMENT & INSTALLATION
A practical top-track installation
- Measure the opening.Take three width and three height measurements and use the smallest values. Check level, vertical alignment and diagonals.
- Fix and rotate the top track.Secure the centre first, rotate the track, slide in all ABS rollers, then turn it back and complete the top fixing.
- Install the side profiles.Fit the door jamb on one side and the magnetic closing profile on the opposite side with its TOP mark facing upward.
- Fit the handle and lubricate.Install the selected handle or lock, then apply a small amount of lubricant where the rollers contact the top track.
Typical tools: tape measure, pencil, level, drill, Phillips screwdriver, hacksaw or cutter, suitable screws and wall anchors, and a small amount of track lubricant.

Is a PVC folding door suitable for a bathroom?
Yes. The PVC profiles are waterproof, moisture resistant and easy to clean, so the door is well suited to indoor bathrooms. Joints and surrounding construction should still be finished correctly for the wet-area conditions.
What is the difference between a soft-hinge and hard-hinge PVC folding door?
A 6 mm soft-hinge door is lighter and uses a flexible edge at each fold. The 10 mm and 12 mm hard-hinge systems are thicker and use rigid connecting edges for a more substantial feel.
How should I choose between 6 mm, 10 mm and 12 mm doors?
Choose according to the opening size, desired weight and feel, glazing requirement and hardware preference. Send the clear opening width and height, intended room and quantity, and our team will recommend a suitable system.
How do I measure the opening for a PVC accordion door?
Measure width at the top, middle and bottom and use the smallest result. Measure height at the left, centre and right from the finished floor and use the smallest result. Also check that the sides are vertical, the top is level and the two diagonals are close.
Can the height or width be trimmed on site?
Yes, the door can be adjusted on site within the limits of the selected model. For unusually tall openings, order a custom height; for wide openings, a double-opening layout is recommended.
Can the same door open from the left or right?
Yes. The opening direction can be adjusted on site, and both single-opening and double-opening layouts are available.
Can PVC folding doors include glazing or a lock?
Yes. Glazed options are available for selected 6 mm and 12 mm models. Handle, magnetic closure and plastic or metal lock options depend on the door configuration.
Can a PVC folding door be installed on tile, timber, concrete or plasterboard?
Yes, provided the top track and side profiles can be fixed securely to the substrate with suitable screws and anchors.
Does installation require a professional?
Not usually. One person can normally complete a standard installation in about 30 minutes with basic measuring, drilling and cutting tools, after reading the supplied instructions.
How do I clean a PVC folding door?
Wipe the profiles with a soft damp cloth and a mild cleaner. Avoid abrasive tools that could mark the printed surface.
What is the expected service life?
The normal-use reference is about five years. Actual service life depends on opening frequency, installation quality, maintenance and environmental conditions.
What is the MOQ for PVC folding doors?
The regular export order is one 20GP container with a minimum of about 100 sets per colour. Smaller quantities can be discussed.
How many PVC folding doors fit in a container?
